Meet Ms. Bailey
Known for her thoughtful interpretations and rich sound at the keyboard, Bailey-Michelle Collins is a pianist defined by her lyrical touch and keen sense of rhythm. Her repertoire spanning across all genres of piano literature, Bailey’s greatest passion is communicating with her audience both on and off the stage. A fluent music instructor and collaborative pianist, she proudly serves her community as a leadership figure and for young musicians.
Bailey began her piano studies at age five in Gainesville, Florida, and she has since had the privilege to work with renowned instructors such as Natalya Antonova, Robert Roux, Fabio Bidini, and Julian Martin. As a developing soloist, Bailey received scholarship awards from organizations including the Boston University Tanglewood Institute, the National Society of Arts and Letters, and the Florida Federation of Music Clubs. She made her orchestral debut at age sixteen under Robert Gary Langford as winner of the David Hubbell Concerto Competition, and has appeared with orchestras throughout the United States including the Santa Fe Symphony and the Tampa Bay Symphony. Her summer festival appearances include the University of Florida International Piano Festival, the Texas State International Piano Festival, and the Miami Music Festival.
Bailey served as a piano instructor for the Lynn Preparatory School of Music in Boca Raton, Florida, where she also taught music to children ages 3-12 at the Emerging Minds Montessori Academy. She has had the pleasure to work at the internationally-acclaimed Interlochen Center for the Arts as a counselor for young artists. Bailey graduated summa cum laude from the Lynn Conservatory of Music, where she studied with Dr. Roberta Rust and received the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Education. Bailey holds a Masters Degree in piano performance from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University.

Meet Ms. Gloria
Gloria (HyeWon) Huskey is a flutist and music educator based in Severna Park, MD. She holds degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music (BM), Columbia University Teachers College (MA), and is a graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy. Gloria is a passionate and dedicated music teacher and well-rounded educator who has taught for over a decade in diverse settings, including The Montessori Schools at Flatiron, Columbia University’s Teachers College, New York Philharmonic’s Very Young People’s Concerts and Children’s Museum of Manhattan. In addition to teaching music to young students, she has collaborated with educators and musicians to create musical and artistic curriculum at a variety of institutions. Gloria continues to seek opportunities to develop and establish creative musical curricula for students of all ages.
A passionate music educator, Gloria has participated in many workshops including Teaching Artist Training Institute’s regional practicum (2023) and Orff-Schulwerk workshops at George Mason University (2022). She is also one of the cohort members at the Teaching Artist Training Institute for 2022-2023, where she was selected as one of the scholarship recipients of TATI’s Miami Learning Retreat to teach at the Miami Music Project’s summer camp and collaborate with other teaching artists across the United States. Gloria is a directing board member at the Bronx School for Music where she was appointed as their first Early Childhood Music Development Advisor & Curriculum Coordinator, where she has successfully established and launched their new department and currently oversees the program design and supports the faculty members to create an engaging musical space for students and families.
Gloria’s primary teachers and mentors include, Dr. Lori Custodero, Dr. Claudia Cali, Mary Kay Fink, Nancy Stagnitta and Don Gottlieb.
